The idea of this track record is to show you the successive building steps of our industrial building project De Post Antwerp. A high-performance building of 50.000 m² which we have been able to finish within a term of 8 months, thanks to the skills and dedication of our project team.

Track record DE POST - ANTWERP
Construction of sorting hall, dispatching zone and offices
Earth works:
- relocation soil: 30.000 m3
- cement milling: 15.000 m3
- crushed stone bedding: 24.800 m3


Pile foundation:
4.300 pieces
- precast piles beneath the structural frame
- in situ grout piles beneath the floor slab
Foundations works:
formwork - reinforcement for pile heads
Foundation works:
anchor bolts for concrete structure



Erection of steel structure of depot: 29.916 m2

Placing of silex concrete panels around depots: 840 m2


Placing of 29.916 m2 steeldeck + roof sealing.

Placing of fire-resistant walls in Ytong and concrete: 1.730 m2

Placing of inner boxes + cladding around the depot: 6.600 m2

 

Placing of polyconcrete floor slab in several phases: 29.000 m2



Erection sprinkler installation.

Erection sprinkler tank.



Central heating installation for radiators, ventilos and air groups.
Two air groups for ventialtion offices.



Ice water group for ventilos.
Conditioning of each office.


Conditioning chambers for IT room.

8 rooftops for condtioning sorting hall.



Complete electrical installation with UPS and emergency.



Complete compressed air installation for sorting.
BMS (Buildinging Management System): all alarms, adjustable parameters and statuses are shown on the building management system (e.g. temperature control, HVAC, electrical installation, ...)
Therefore, it enables a very functional management and maintenance of all installations.


Complete fire detection system and gas extinction of IT rooms.

 
Finished building.
